Bonjour de Paris!

Today will be a 2 part post, first we will cover our last day in England and first day in France. In England, we had to pack up our things and took some time to finish up some loose ends. Every time we had gone to the park down the street it had been too cold to enjoy ourselves so we were waiting for a nice day to go back, and we finally got it.
Grand Union Canal next to the park
 Fun Zipline
 Teeter Totter with Daddy

 Fun Swing
People running their horses through the park

Ally had also been working all week on her first real watercolor painting. They have an eisle set up in the spare bedroom that looks out to the garden. Here is the view:
 Here is her result

She did very well and was quite proud of herself. These were with tubes of only 4-5 basic colors and had to try and mix them all.

Finally we were all packed and ready to go! We took the Eurostar into the Chunnel. Ally was disappointed she wasn't going to be able to see any fish. I was actually surprised to learn that we are actually going under the ocean floor, not just a tunnel on top of the ocean floor. We arrived safe and sound and were greeted by our hostess named Gill. She is very friendly and is originally from England so we can practice our French with her but 98% of our conversation is still in English =)
We took the RER train to the Palaiseau Valley which takes about 20 minutes. Here is her charming home where we will be staying for the next 5 days.
Our room is upstairs at the balcony and the bathroom, is in the turret. It has a princess size door to the bathroom.
Here are the views from the front and back

Small river going through the back Jardin
The streets are so narrow that the mailwoman comes on motorbike
Here it is at 9pm! Hmm, do you think I can convince Ally that it is bedtime??? We need to get to bed to enjoy our day into Paris tomorrow.
